‘Fairy Tail’ to End with Volume 63

Fairy Tail by Hiro Mashima, currently being serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, is scheduled to come to an end. In Volume 61, which came out on 17 May 2017, it was announced that the manga series would be complete after the next two volumes.

Mashima said, ‘I am sad it is ending, but I am also excited to get to start something new. My new series is scheduled to start right after.’

Fairy Tail is one of the most popular series of this decade, with more than 60 million volumes sold worldwide. Recently, the movie Fairy Tail -Dragon Cry- was released in Japanese cinemas.
